The HSR Prototype Challenge presented by IMSA hosted Round 2 of the championship last weekend at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta for the 46th running of The Mitty - one of HSR’s flagship events!

We had a great weekend with tons of track time in both the HSR PC class and also in Group 6, where we ran Bob’s Riley BMW Daytona Prototype.

Veteran sportscar racer Guy Cosmo and protege Bob Neapole will pair up to compete in the new HSR Prototype Challenge Presented by IMSA.

Under the RBN Motorsports banner and supported by long-time vintage & historic racing experts Hudson Historics, Cosmo and Neapole will co-pilot a Ligier JS P320 acquired from Riley Motorsports.

Qualified P3 in Pro-Am today, in a Flying Lizard sandwich of P2, P3 & P4 in class with Andy Lee just ahead by 0.130 and Marc Miller just behind by 0.008! Amazing how tight the margins are! I’m honored to be mixing it up with these guys whom I’ve got mad respect for. And let’s not forget the mighty Johannes van Overbeek who was on Q2 duty so not in our session, but took P3 in class for that session!

Next week I will be making my series debut in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo with Flying Lizard Motorsports, joining my great friend and client whom I’ve been coaching this season, Tom Tait Jr.

Tom will be moving from the AM class, where he drove by himself this year, to the PRO-AM class, where we will co-drive together. This should provide epic levels of entertainment for all and an opportunity to test the waters as co-drivers together.

INDIANAPOLIS (19 Sept. 2022) – A leading rapid-response life insurance company has signed on to utilize the upcoming Indianapolis 8 hour presented by AWS as part of a comprehensive marketing effort by partnering with the No. 39 Hero Life / Kids for Kids Mercedes-AMG GT3 effort set to be piloted by Chris Cagnazzi, Shane Lewis and Guy Cosmo. The effort will be fielded by Stephen Cameron Racing in the Pro-Am division of the Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Cosmo, Lewis pair on board No. 32 Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO

Watkins Glen New York (26 June 2021) Gilbert Korthoff Motorsports will launch its IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship program next week when the Florida-based team makes its GTD Class debut at Watkins Glen International for the IMSA WeatherTech 240 on Friday.

Chris Cagnazzi and Guy Cosmo will share driving duties of the PRESIDIO #39 RENNtech Motorsports AMG GT4 for the remainder of the 2021 SRO World-Challenge season, starting May, 1st at Circuit of The Americas, in Texas.
