Guy Cosmo Ready For American Le Mans Series Return

"Petit Le Mans will definitely prove to be one of the most exciting races of the year," continued Guy. "It is such an incredible event, and it takes place at one of my favorite race tracks."

Cosmo and the B-K Motorsports team are no strangers to the Road Atlanta podium.

"Ten hours around Road Atlanta is extremely demanding on the cars and drivers," Guy stressed. "Last year we finished 2nd at this event, so we’re hoping our Mazda reliability will bring us to the podium once again.”

The race begins at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, September 30 and continues for 10 hours or 1000 miles, whichever comes first. The race will air live on SPEED.

The next round of the 2006 American Le Mans Series is the season finale at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey California. The race is set for October 19-21 and will air on SPEED. Guy Cosmo Joins Fountain Motorsports for Grand Prix de Trois-Rivieres

Fountain Motorsports Racing is pleased to announce the addition of Rolex Daytona Prototype driver Guy Cosmo to its' driver line-up for the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres on August 5th. The 200 mile road race is the 8th installment of the 10 race Grand American Road Racing Association's Grand-Am Cup Series.

Guy, an accomplished driver in Grand American's Rolex Series, joins Fountain Motorsports regular Paul Stoddart in the #126 BMW 330i. "I'm excited to run on the streets of Trois-Rivieres, and looking forward to working with Mike and the guys at Fountain Motorsports."

Team Owner, Mike Fonte is excited about this opportunity - "Guy obviously brings a wealth of knowledge and professional experience to the team and we look forward to making the most of it. In only it's seventh race since the teams inception, Fountain Motorsports is coming off its' best result yet, an 8th place finish in the tightly contested EMCO Gears 200, at Mid-Ohio on June 25th. The team of Cosmo and Stoddart look forward to building on this result to further improve to a podium finish at Trois-Rivieres. Guy Cosmo's only two starts in Grand-Am Cup's ST category resulted in back-to-back victories at Mont-Tremblant and Virginia International Raceway in 2003.
